Aung San Suu Kyi needs no introduction to the friends of American Institute of Sindhulogy (AIS), she is one of the five inspirational pillars of the The Nonviolence Project.

We are very proud to report that the pro-democracy Burmese leader received the Nobel Peace Prize and delivered her heart-warming acceptance speech in Oslo, Norway. This was correctly considered the most remarkable in the entire history of the Nobel prizes. She was originally awarded 21 years ago while under house arrest by the Burmese military junta.

AIS provides its well wishes to the leader in all her future nonviolence endeavors.
